Rose A. Stanley went to her heavenly home on May 18, 2026.

Rose was born on January 6, 1941, in Washington, Indiana, to the late Esther (Barber) and William Everett Hill. She attended Washington Catholic School and spent her life surrounded by the people and simple joys she loved most.

Rose enjoyed playing Bingo, visiting with friends and family, and sharing special moments with those she held dear. She will be remembered for her warm heart, kind spirit, and the love she had for her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving cousins and her close friend, Bertha “Ellen” Small.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Jill Zabel, Carol Richardson, and Margaret Rose Walters.

Rose’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Cemetery.
