Robert F. Geodde age 90 of Washington passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Robert was born on November 22, 1929 in Ottwa, Ohio to Robert W. and Emma (Wischmeyer) Goedde. He went to school at St. Peter & Paul in Ottwa, Ohio. Robert was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and he retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the Ottwa, Ohio American Legion.

He is survived by a daughter Jane M. Wildenthaler of Signal Hill, California; sister Joann Ruen of Columbus Grove, Ohio; sister in law Patricia Goedde of Middletown, Ohio and close friends Jerry and Marilyn Haas and family of Washington.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife Sharon (Summit) Goedde who he married June 2, 1962; parents; two brothers Gerald and Donald Goedde and two sisters Eleanor Wood and Vera Knott.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel and funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Military Graveside Rites will follow at Bethel Cemetery given by the Washington American Legion and VFW.
