Obituary

Richard Jason Dinkens, 45, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Born on September 13, 1980, to Floyd "Rick" Dinkens and Deborah (Robinson) Dinkens, Richard was a 1999 graduate of Washington High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Afghanistan War. Following his military service, he worked at the Pentagon before later becoming disabled.

Richard found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time fishing, playing video games, and cheering on his favorite football teams. Above all, he treasured the time he shared with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Michelle (Horsting) Dinkens, whom he married on May 6, 2000; his daughter, Isabelle Dinkens (David Havassy); his father and stepmother, Floyd "Rick" and Tina Dinkens; his half-sister, Lisa (Ray) Emmick; and his stepsister, Lisa (Chris) Connors.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Deborah (Robinson) Dinkens.
