Richard Lee Colvin, age 61, of Washington, passed away November 30, 2009 at his residence. He was born July 21, 1948 in Washington to Francis J. and Crystal (Edwards) Colvin. He was a 1967 graduate of Washington High School and a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by one daughter Kelly Ann Emery; two grandchildren, Tyler Emery and Makayla Emery; one sister, Mrs. James (Rita) Corn of Jasper; and one brother, Francis (Peanut) Colvin of Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Gene Edwards. A graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sugarland Memory Gardens with military graveside rites conducted by the Washington American Legion and VFW.
