Richard "Dick" Brothers, age 87, of Washington, went from his Earthly to heavenly home on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 12:00 noon.
He was born on February 22, 1934 in Washington to Ira and Dorothy (Healy) Brothers. He was a graduate of Montgomery High School. Dick was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, and was retired from Daviess County Economic Development. He had worked for several years for German American Bank.
Those left to morn his passing are his brother, Raymond (Pat) Brothers; a sister, Barbara (George) Wilson of California; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Phyllis (Baumert) Brothers on whom he had married on June 26. 2005.
A mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 11:30 AM on Friday, February 11 , 2022 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:30 am till 11:30 am at the Church.
