Phyllis A. Lents, age 79, of Washington passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born June 27, 1935 to Noble F. Lents and Emogene (Ash) Lents in Washington. She attended Washington Public Schools and was a member at Temple Baptist Church. She worked at Uniroyal, Armour, and retired from Home Health Care. Surviving are daughters Penny McCool of Washington, a granddaughter, Nicole Evans of Washington, four great-granddaughters; Breana Murphy, Brittany Murphy, Brandy Murphy, Bianca Murphy, and a nephew, Ronnie Lents. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, daughter, Donna Richmond, and a brother, Jerry Lents. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Brother Ronnie Lents officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 - 8 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary.
