Paul Dages age 84 of Montgomery passed away at 1:02 AM Friday at Martin County Healthcare and Rehab Center. Born July 16, 1922 in Daviess County he was the son of George and Anna (Bradley) Dages. He attended Montgomery High School, was a World War II Air Force Veteran, a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, a member of the Loogootee American Legion, and retired from the U. S. Post Office after 33 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Helen (Kennedy) Dages whom he married on June 10, 1950; one brother, Donald Dages of Greenfield; one sister, Eleanor O'Connor of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father Jim Koressel as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Loogootee American Legion will conduct full military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church with the rosary at 6 p.m. Condolences may be sent to www.edleemortuary.com .
