Patricia "Patty" J. Pettigrew, age 75, of Washington, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born on May 8, 1942 in Washington to Ernest Newton and Marquritte (Taylor) Cox. She had worked for Nasco Industrial for seven years. She loved visiting with family, taking care of flowers and birds. She is survived by two sons, Jeffery (Pamela) Pettigrew of Perry, Oklahoma and Michael (April) Pettigrew of Washington; brother, Stephen Mark Cox of Washington; two sisters, Connie Swafford of Washington and Darlene Ricker of Washington; daughter-in-law, Teresa Pettigrew; eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Jerome "Jerry" Pettigrew; son, Timothy Pettigrew; daughter, Kathy Elane Lucas; two grandsons, Tyler Steven Pettigrew and Brandon Pettigrew; brothers, Gerald Cox, Billy Cox and Joseph Cox. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
