Patricia 'Patty' Joan Brothers, age 87 of Vincennes formerly of Washington, entered eternal life in the early morning hours on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Patty was born on August 10, 1937. in Daviess County to Austin A and Thelma E. (Capehart) Mangin.

She was a 1955 graduate of Montgomery High School and she also graduated from Vincennes University with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Patty worked at Prairie Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for several years as a LPN before retiring. After retirement she worked as a private nurse. Patty enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

Those left to mourn Patty's memory include her daughter, Cathy Jones of Vincennes; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) Hardig of Vincennes, John 'Cory' Jones of Vincennes, Paige (George) Miller of Montgomery, Zachary Jones of Vincennes and Joshua Jones of Huntsville, Alabama; Several Great grandchildren; one brother, Mike (Mary Rose) Mangin of Loogootee, and one sister, Linda (Pat) Mullen of Jasper.

Patty over her lifetime mourned the loss of her husband, Donald Brothers who passed on September 18, 1995, whom she married on February 21,1960 ; her parents, Austin and Thelma Mangin; siblings, Kenny Mangin, Joyce Brochin, Jerry Mangin, Jim Mangin, Dick Mangin, and Bernard Mangin.

Visitation will be from 9:30 AM till 10:20 AM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday June 12, 2025 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Furguson as celebrant.
