Nona M. LaVassaur, age 75 of Washington formerly of Rochester, New Hampshire, passed away at 4:30 AM on Monday at her residences. She was born on January 10, 1934 in Brakes Cove, Newfoundland to John and Jenny (Blanchard) Park. She is survived by six sisters and brothers in-law, Margaret Lovell, Alice and Gerald Wheeler, Cathy and Richard Stumpf, Anita and Bud Baldwin, Marjorie Park, and Evelyn Wells; two brothers and sisters in-law, Joseph and Loretta Park, and David and Daisy Park; many nieces and nephews; and her care givers, Dick and Jane LaVassaur, Dianna Shaffer, and Linda Bechtel. She was preceded in death by one son, Rickie LaVassaur on August 6th 2005 and her parents; two brothers and sisters in-law, John Jr. and Stella Park, and Andrew and Bridget Park; and one brother in-law John Lovell.
