Nettie Moore, age 85, of Washington passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Nettie was born on February 21, 1934 in Washington to Herschel Odon Emmons and Maggie Mae (Doane) Emmons. She retired from Western Electric in Indianapolis. Nettie loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nettie is survived by a son Dennis (Diane) Evans of Montgomery; sister Shirley  Emmons Adams of Prattville, AL; step-daughter Martha Moore Killion of Washington;  three grandchildren Michelle Evans Niehaus, Timothy Evans and Stephanie Evans O'Brian and 8 great-grandchildren Kenneth Evans, Clayton Evans, Andrew Niehaus, Jordan Niehaus, Karli O'Brian, Kane O'Brian, Kendra Hawhee and Daniel Hawhee.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth Ray Moore; son Terry Evans; 4 brothers Herschel Junior Emmons, Robert Emmons, Walter "Tince" Emmons and half-brother Willis Emmons; 3 sisters Joyce Emmons Langham, Margaret Emmons Kraut and Anna Marie Emmons and ex-husband Donald Ray Evans.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel followed by a Graveside service at 1:30pm at Sugarland Memory Garden.
