Nellie (Robinson) Wood age 86 of Washington passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Daviess Community Hospital.
Nellie was born April 27, 1934 in Mobile, Alabama to Ivanna (Phillips) and Neil Joseph Livingstone. She had three older brothers Neil, Joe and Robert. She moved to Washington, IN in 1954 after serving in the USAF. She worked for many years as the office manager for Drs Rang, Barrett and Heymann. She and her husband Ron lived in Naples, FL for several years before returning to Washington. Nellie would want everyone to know she loved her life, her family and friends.
Nellie is survived by her husband Ron Wood who she married in 1987; son Thomas J. Robinson of Washington; daughter Linda Robinson Dillon of Bloomington; grandchildren Jessica Robinson, Jordan Dillon, Adryan Dillon and Nathan Robinson; great-grandchildren Luke Miller, Tommy Miller, Kash Robinson and a great-great-granddaughter Everlee Jane Miller.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and granddaughter Lauren Robinson.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. John Episcopal Church at 11:00 am with Father Dennis Latta officiating. Military graveside rites will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
