Nancy O'Con, 76, passed away at her Washington residence in the early morning hours of December 18, 2023. She was born in Alexandria, Virginia, March 21, 1947. She was married to Milton H. Parsons, Jr., Dallas Ruminer, and later, Frank O'Con.
Nancy was a high school graduate who went on to be a secretary/office manager for the Army Material Command and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. She retired after thirty-five years of federal government service. She was a member of the Washington Nazarene Church.
Those who cherish Nancy's memory include her ex-husband, Frank O'Con; children: Matthew Ruminer of Washington, Cheryl Moore, and Lana (Kenny) Jackson both of Winchester, Virginia; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Parsons. Nancy was blessed with seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Coming from a large family, Nancy leaves three sisters and four brothers.
Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Milton H. Parsons, Jr. and second husband, Dallas Ruminer; her son, Milton H. Parsons III; and grandson, Ryan Scott Jackson.
Visitation for Nancy O'Con will be 2:00-4:00 pm, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.
Funeral services for Nancy O'Con will immediately follow the visitation, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, and begin at 4:00 pm. Pastor Darrell Sellers will officiate.
A graveside service and burial for Nancy O'Con will be held in the Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria, Virginia, later in the week.

Pastor Darrell Sellers will officiate. A graveside service and burial will be held in the Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, Virginia. It is planned for later this week.
