Nancy (Kathy) Connaughton, age 61, of Washington, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 12:09 p.m. at Daviess Community Hospital.

She was born on July 10, 1957 in Washington to Roy and Barbara (Palmer) Connaughton. She graduated from Washington Catholic High School in 1975 and had worked as a nurse at several different nursing centers. She was a member at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Nancy enjoyed drawing and crafts. She also liked to collect Boyd's Bears.

She is survived by her niece, Tiffany (Tyler) Forbey of Washington; nephew, Josh Wininger of Washington; one great niece Ashlynn Forbey and one great nephew Barrett Forbey; along with several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Susan Wininger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Montgomery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
