Michael Lee Hochmeister, age 44, of Washington, passed away at 5:12 PM on Wednesday. He was born on April 18, 1968 in Washington to Gordon and Jean (Taylor) Hochmeister. He was a 1986 graduate of Washington, High School and graduated from Vincennes University in 1988. He received a B.S. degree from Aurora Illinois University in 1996 and his Master Degree from the University of Kentucky in 2002. He was baptized in the Church of Christ. He was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He is survived by one daughter, Erica Leigh Hochmeister of Texas,; two sons Michae Caleb Hochmeister and Jacob Keith Hochmeister both of Magnolia, Texas; his parents, Gordon and Jean Hochmeister of Washington; and two sisters, Anita Lynn (Ted) Sewall of Indianapolis and Audrea Lea Ritter of Anchorage, Alaska. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Edna Hochmeister, and Sam Taylor and Ardella Taylor. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Bro.
