Mary Ellen Slider age 53 of Washington passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at her residence.

Mary was born on February 11, 1968 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Joy Ann (Jones) and William Holsapple. She was a member of the Eastern Star and also had been part of a group of back-up singers for Foreigner. She loved music and singing.

Mary is survived by her husband Terry Slider who she married on November 18, 1994; three sons Jacob Dwenger and David Cardinal both of Washington and Chris Slider of Santa Clauss, IN; daughter Laura Cardinal of Washington; brother Tom Holsapple of Indianapolis; two sisters Cheryl Tapp of Indianapolis and Linda Kelly of Montgomery and nine grandchildren David Mattingly, Tony Mattingly, Kai Hirasuna, Iris Slider, Delilah Stivers, Stella Dwenger, Rydia Dwenger, Jaxon Cardinal and Jacob Cardinal.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Dennis Holsapple.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be the same day at 7:00 pm.
