Mary R. Sheffler of Washington age 80 passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

Mary was born April 2, 1940 in Washington to John W. and Julia R. Greenwell. She graduated from Montgomery High School. She worked at Crane Navy Base and loved to quilt.

Mary is survived by her husband Paul Sheffler who she married on September 1, 1984; daughter Rita (Rick) Drew of Washington; son Raymond (Heather) Wininger of Westfield, IN; six grandchildren Heather (Nick) Schuetz, Dusty (Brittany) Drew, Raymond James Wininger, Paul Joseph Wininger, Kayla Biddle and Alyssa Wininger; several great-grandchildren and special friend Carolyn (David) Fenton of Shelbyville, IN.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:00 am at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
