Mary Louise (Gossett, Miller) Kirkman, 92, passed away January 31, 2022, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Proctorville, Ohio, December 18, 1929, to Harold B. and Ruby E. (Daniels) Gossett. In September of 1949, she married Edward Miller, and, during their more than 65 ½ years of marriage, they had three children, pastored several churches, and traveled in Gospel evangelistic work. Edward preceded her in death. On April 9, 2016, she married Cecil Kirkman and he preceded her in death.

Mary was a loving, caring mother, and a homemaker with great musical talent. She played the accordion, guitar, mandolin, piano, and keyboard. She was a member of the Bible Holiness Church. Her favorite Bible verse was Romans 8:28.

Those who now cherish Mary's memory include her children: James (Margaret) Miller in Florida, David (Kathy) Miller in Pennsylvania, and Eunice Miller in Kentucky. Mary was blessed with seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Bernard Gossett in Michigan.

During her lifetime, Mary mourned the loss of her parents, Harold and Ruby Gossett; her first husband, Edward Miller; and her second husband, Cecil Kirkman.

Visitation with family and friends will be 9:30-11:00 am, Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the Twin Oaks Church, 1911 East County Road 650 North, Petersburg, Indiana 47567.

The Memorial Service for Mary Louise Kirkman will follow the visitation time, Thursday, July 14, 2022, and will begin at 11:00 am, also at the Twin Oaks Church. Pastor Clark Gray will officiate. Interment will be in the Twin Oaks Cemetery.
