Mary Louise Edwards age 93 of Washington passed away at 11:20 p.m. Saturday at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born March 28, 1914 in Washington to Augustus and Theresia (Klingle) Mangin. She was a 1932 graduate of Washington Catholic High School and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Surviving is two sons and daughters in-law, John and Sharon Edwards, and Gene Edwards all of Wheatland and Pam Edwards of Oblong, Illinois; one daughter and son in-law, Mary and Joe Egenolf of Greenwood; nine grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is her husband Carl Edwards, whom she married December 28, 1937 and he died December 19, 1995. One son Charles Edwards who died August 24, 1998; four brothers; and three sisters are also deceased. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Leo Kiesel as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
