Mary Jane Colbert, age 76, Washington, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1: 15 a.m. at the Loogootee Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 2, 1938 to Michael and Mary (Fegan) Steiner in Montgomery. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 1956 Montgomery High School graduate and Tri-State Beauty College, worked at Wright Beauty Shop, Kids Konnection Day Care and a member of RSVP which she was selected Volunteer of the Month October 2004. Mary Jane is survived by; one sister, Anne Arvin of Loogootee; one brother, Dan Steiner of Loogootee; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband of 49 years, Larry D. Colbert who passed away April 13, 2008; parents; brothers, John Jack'' H. Steiner, Charles Steiner and James Steiner; sisters, Joan Steiner and Dorothy Hagerty. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 - 8 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary with wake service at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to RSVP, P.O.
