Marvin Thompson, Jr., 67, passed away at the Washington Nursing Center on February 6, 2023. He was born in Washington, July 21, 1955, to Marvin Elwood and Eva Pearl (Holt) Thompson.

Marvin was employed earlier at Perdue Farms. He was a music lover who owned his own set of drums, enjoyed putting model cars together and liked to sketch and paint.

Those who mourn Marvin's passing include his siblings: Kathy (Kenny) LaForce of Washington; Michael (Deborah) Thompson of Washington; Gloria Thompson of Evansville; and George Thompson of Washington. He leaves several nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin, Sr. and Eva Thompson; brothers: David Thompson; John Thompson; Jerry Thompson; Ted Thompson; Timothy Thompson and Richard Thompson who died in infancy.

Visitation for Marvin Thompson, Jr. will be 10:00 am-12:30 pm, Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.

Funeral services for Marvin Thompson, Jr. will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 12:30 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary. Pastor Pete Aldrich will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
