Martha M. Maier age 73 of Petersburg passed away on Tuesday at 12:15 AM at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born on April 2-1933 in Lambertville Michigan to the late Joshua Fredrick and Esther C. (Slick) Alcock. Surviving are 2 sons; Richard C. Quinn of Toledo, Ohio, and Carl F. Maier of Wheatland, Wyoming, five daughters and sons-inlaw; Mary Ellen and Donald DaSaro of Singapore, Carman Ruth Garcia of Schaller, Iowa, Corinne L. and Michael Calhoun of Petersburg, Indiana, Beverly E. Nellett of Toledo, Ohio, and Gaye M. and Dale Williams Grand Ledge, Michigan. Four brothers and sisters in-law; Kenneth F. Alcock of Lambertville, Michigan, Clark and Janice Alcock of Lambertville, Michigan, Frank W. and Mona Alcock of Temperance, Michigan, and Ronald J. and Joanne Alcock of Lambertville, Michigan, two sisters and brother in-law; Ethel L. Lewis of Toledo, Ohio, and Esther Leone and Robert Brown of Temperance, Michigan, 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl William Maier on December 19-1970, one grandson, Colt Gunderson, her parents, two brothers; David S. Alcock and Harold L. Alcock, and one sister Ina F. Burdine. Memorial services will be held on August 19,2006 at 10:00 AM at Whiteford Union Cemetery in Bedford, Michigan.
