Obituary

Marilyn Sue Lemon, 64, of Washington, IN passed away peacefully on May 10, 2016. Known as Sue to family, she was born on June 12, 1951 to William (Bill) and Alma (Kirsch) Litherland. She graduated from Washington Catholic High School in 1969. She went on to work at Kramer''s and the Daviess County Hospital before entering Vincennes University. After graduating from Vincennes University she worked as a paralegal in Washington. Her greatest joy was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She loved reading and visiting with her close friends in the "over 50 Possee". She is survived by her four sons, Eric (Kristin) Lemon of Belle Mead, NJ, Jeremy (Sarah) Lemon of Loogootee, Tristin (Chrissy) Litherland of Goodyear, AZ and Dustin Lemon of Petersburg, 15 grandchildren; Maxwell Lemon, Creston Lemon, Holden Lemon, Emma Lemon, Megan Otken, Jillian Lemon, Emsley Waggner, Madison Waggner, Madeline Rose-Blankenship, Michael Rose, Tristin Ryne Litherland, Vincent Litherland, Emily Lemon, Makayla Lemon, Grace Lemon, four sisters and three brothers, Charlotte Wilz of Washington, Celeste Tolbert of Washington, Dave Litherland of Washington, Greg Litherland of Washington, Marge Gillingham of Oceanside, California, Jean Wilson of Rock Hill, SC, and Rick Litherland of Walterboro, SC. She is preceded in death by both her parents. There will be a Remembrance and Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers or other bereavement gifts, donations can be made to the DaVita Daviess County Dialysis Center, 310 NE 14th Street, Washington, IN 47501 or the American Diabetes Association, 2207 E.
