Margaret Grow age 74, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Margaret was born April 19, 1946 in Washington to Sherman and Catherine (Brummett) Yerkes. She graduated from Union Bible Seminary in Westfield, Indiana in 1964. She was a member of Free Methodist Church in Washington. Margaret liked to sew, craft, cook and travel but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her loving grandkids and family.

Margaret is survived by her son William Patrick Grow II of Washington; daughter Billie (Jeremy) Allen of Cannelburg; four sisters Esther Fleetwood and Mildred Fox both of Washington, Jean Mayhew of NC and Marsha Reisert of Brookville, In and six grandchildren Austin Allen, Jaylynn Allen, Makiah Grow, Kinzlei Grow, Layla Grow and Paisley Grow.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband William Patrick Grow who she married on November 11, 1977 and lost on December 6, 2008; four brothers James Yerkes, Leroy  Yerkes, Charles Yerkes and Joseph Yerkes and sister Alberta Cannon.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Free Methodist Church, 1155 Troy Rd., Washington, Indiana 47501 with funeral service at 12:00 pm. Pastor Adam Conder will be officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery.
