Louis James Moore, age 87 of Washington passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Daviess Community Hospital.

Louis was born on June 8, 1933 in Medora, Indiana to Tullis R and Ruby Ann (Atchison) Moore. Louis graduated from Loogootee High School. He enlisted in the Army and served in Germany. Louis retired from US Gypsum. He was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Russell T. Moore and John R. Moore and two sisters Vera Louise Spalding and Chlois Moore.

Military Graveside Rites will be given by the Washington American Legion and VFW on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Bethany Cemetery with Father Paul Ferguson officiating.
