Lois A. Bland, 67, passed away while at the Daviess Community Hospital in Washington on August 2, 2021. She was born June 5, 1954, in Petersburg, to Mabel Holtsclaw Jenne and William Jenne.

Lois was a homemaker who loved to watch TV, and do Word Search puzzles. Her children fondly remember and will miss her fried chicken and mashed potato dinners.

Those who now mourn Lois' passing include her children: Annie May Stiles, and Terry Bland of Odon, and Sandy (Josh) Sollman of Evansville. Lois cherished her three grandchildren: Calvin Sollman, Aleeya Stiles, and Monika Stiles. Coming from a large family, Lois leaves behind: sisters, Vicki (Alan) Austin of Huntingburg; Martha Fuson of Washington; and brothers, Rick Jenne of Vincennes; Claude and Wayne Jenne of Washington; Milton Jenne in Florida; and a stepbrother Gene Risley of Bedford.

During her life, Lois mourned the loss of her parents, Mabel and William Jenne; sisters, Annabell Grubb; Sue McBride; and Irene Jenne; brothers, Mike Jenne; infant Franklin Jenne; Georgie Jenne; and a stepbrother, Billy Risley.

Visitation for Lois Bland is planned for Friday, August 6, 2021, 11:00 am-1:00 pm, at the Ed Lee Mortuary, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 101 NORTH MERIDIAN STREET, Washington.

Funeral services for Lois Bland will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, August 6, 2021, at the Ed Lee Mortuary, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 101 NORTH MERIDIAN STREET, Washington. Pastor Jewel Gilley will officiate.
Interment will be decided at a later date.
