Lloyd A. Peach, age 92, of Washington passed away at 6:36 p.m. Tuesday at Selected Specialty Hospital in Evansville. He was born March 26, 1917 in Pike County, Indiana to Elmer and Laura Peach. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had worked for B & O for 21 years, Washington High School for 10 years, and John Deere for 5 years. Surviving is his wife, Ruby M. (Miller) Peach, whom he married May 4, 1974; a step-daughter, Judy Williams of Washington; four step-grandchildren; and 6 step-great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death is a step-daughter, Barbara Baumert; three brothers, Ed Peach, Orville Peach, and Leo Peach; and one sister, Geneva Bowel. Private funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial was in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
