Lisa P. Hayes age 59 of Washington passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

Lisa was born August 24, 1961 in Terre Haute to Leland and Patricia (Reedy) Ellis. She was a bus driver for the city of Washington and a member of Faithway Baptist Church. She loved to crochet.

Lisa is survived by her daughter Jennifer Ellis of Washington; son Nickolas Hayes of Washington; two sisters Diane (Otto) Mellado of Washington and Nita (Kelly) Hardesty of Payneville, KY; brother Frank (Cindy) Smith of Montgomery and two grandchildren Melitni Booth and Noah Bechtel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Scott W. Hayes who she married September 5, 1998 and lost June 12, 2012; and her sister Linda (Jeannie) Mathis.

There will be no services.
