Linda D. Skomp, 69, left her earthly home and entered her heavenly home on January 16, 2022. She was born in Linton, Indiana, to Carl Victor and Florence Annette (Apple) Saucerman, December 11, 1952. On March 28, 1971, she married the love of her life, Marvin Skomp. He survives.

A high school graduate, Linda was retired from NASCO. She was an avid Elvis fan who loved motorcycle riding and kayaking. But, most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Linda attended the Central Christian Church.

Those who now cherish Linda's memory include her husband, Marvin Skomp; her sons, Darrell (Jessica) Skomp of Washington, and Alan (Jennifer) Skomp of Glendale. Linda was blessed with eight grandchildren: Kayden Skomp, Harleigh Skomp, Kenzie Skomp, Riley Skomp, Jase Skomp, Cameron Skomp, Hannah Skomp, and Owen Skomp. She leaves three brothers: Stephen Saucerman, Edward England, and Robert England.

During her lifetime, Linda mourned the loss of her parents, Carl and Florence Saucerman; and brothers, Victor and Larry Saucerman.

Visitation for Linda Skomp will be held 4:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana. Her funeral will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 7:00 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel.
