Linda L. (Fields) Johnson, 74, passed away the morning of May 8, 2023. She was born in Washington, May 14, 1948, to Francis Leroy and Helen Louise (Rogers) Fields.

Linda enjoyed bingo, listening to Elvis records, and most of all, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the Catholic faith.

Those who now mourn Linda's passing include the father of her children: Danny Gray, Sr. of Washington; her children: Jamie (Jason) Smith of Norris City, Illinois; and Danny (Rhonda) Gray, Jr. of Washington. Linda was blessed with seven grandchildren: Jasea Jo (Clayton) Wall; Johnna Smith; and Jacoby Smith all of Norris City, Illinois; Michael Kirby; Austin (Samantha) Gray; and Bradley Gray all of Washington; and Colton Gray of Vincennes. Additionally, Linda leaves sixteen great-grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Helen Fields; husband, Frank Johnson; and her brother, Donald McCrary.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
