Larry M. Andis, age 71, of Washington, passed away on Thursday at 8:28 PM at Daviess Community Hospital. He was born on September 27, 1941 in Washington to Bernard and Eva Ethelda (Clinton) Andis. He was a 1959 graduate of Odon High School and was a member of the Washington Moose Lodge. He loved rabbit hunting and going to the river. He is survived by his wife Betty Andis; one daughter, Barbara (Robert) Knepp of Washington,; two sons, Robert Andis and Barry Andis both of Washington; two step daughters, Cynthia (Ron) Bond Vincennes and Catherine (Tony) Traylor of Petersburg; six grandchildren, Christian Andis, Emma Jo Andis, Lauren Andis, Kaleb Knepp, Kenzie Knepp, and Abbi Marie Knepp; four step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; and his k-9 friends, Tyler and Shep. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Mt. Gilead Cemetery with Rev. Clearance Miller officiating. There will be no visitation. Ed Lee Mortuary is handling arrangements.
