Krista K. Baker, 45 of Washington, passed away April 30, 2015 peacefully at home at 12:00 a.m. after battling cancer for two years. She was born March 3, 1970 in Washington, Indiana to Roy D. & Patricia K. Kline Burton. Krista is survived by her husband, Patrick J. Baker Sr. , her daughters; Tamara K. Kiser (Hunter) Hitt of Vincennes, Kiesha V. Kiser of Freelandville, parents; Roy and Patricia Kline Burton of Washington, step-son; Patrick J. Baker Jr. of Jasper, brothers; David E. (Denese) Burton of Washington, Rex (Jo Ann) Burton of Washington , Don (Michele) Burton of Salem, several nieces and nephews and two great nephews. Krista enjoyed doing cross stitching, camping, bowling, reading and spending time with her family and friends. In the past, Krista had worked at Old National Bank in Bicknell, Linco and John Conti. Krista volunteered at Daviess Community Hospital. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary with Dennis McDannald officiating. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
