Kevin Lee Ashby passed away March 23, 2019, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Evansville, IN, surrounded by family after a continued battle with health issues since May 2018. He was born August 7, 1964, to Jackie Lee Ashby Sr. and Judith Marie (Earl) Ashby of Washington. Kevin had a love of music and collected and played vinyl records for many years. Kevin also had a love of animals, especially dogs and that prompted his 14 year friendship with his beloved border collie "Baby". Kevin stayed home with his mother and father. He was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Hettie Earl of Shoals, IN, and Harold and Bonnie Ashby (Wimmenauer) of Washington. He is survived by his parents Jack and Judy, his four brothers, Jon and Carol, Harold and Dee, Jack Jr. and Mary Jane, Mark and Charity, and one sister, Sherri Ray all of Washington. Kevin had many nieces and nephews – Brittany, Brandi, Michael, Dereck, Brayton, Haley, Devin, Garrett, Hannah, Kyle, Hayden, Gage and Amaya; one great niece and one great nephew. He was the heart of his entire family and will be greatly missed until we meet again.

Visitation  will be from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, March 27th, at Ed Lee Mortuary, Downtown Chapel, 101 North Meridian Street, Washington. Private Services will be held at a later date. Kevin will be laid to rest at New Veale Creek Cemetery in Washington.
