Judith A. Woody, age 80 passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Loogootee Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Judith was born February 6, 1940 in Washington to Alvin and Helen (Downey) Gaines. She worked at Kimball Artec in Jasper. She was a member of Shoals Christian Church. Judith loved gardening, playing cards "especially when she was winning", singing and spending time with her grandchildren. Her favorite saying was "Love you with all my heart."

She is survived by two sons Greg (Anita) Woody of Loogootee and Jerry (Kelly) Woody of Bedford; three daughters Cozetta (Kevin) Denson of Bloomfield, Dana (Jeff) York of Morgantown and Rene (Daniel) Wagler of Shoals; two brothers Bobby (Ellen) Gaines of California and Mike (Donna) Gaines of Washington; three sisters Gwen (Keith) Graber of Loogootee, Gale (Rick) Adams of Elletsville and Tonya (Scott) Fields of Bedford; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Judith is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Samuel Gaines and Billy Gaines and two sisters Mary Purdue and Betty Roberts.

There will be a private Graveside service held. A celebration of Judith's life will be held at a later date.
