Judith Kay Wininger age 77 of Washington passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at her residence.

Judith was born July 6, 1943 in Washington to Charles "Chick" and Virginia (Ross) Mathis. She loved to go camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, making floral arrangements and spending time with her family.

Judith is survived by two daughters Rebecca (Mike) Nowling of Plainville and Stacey (Todd) Gray of Washington; six brothers Bud Mathis, Dale Mathis, Frank Mathis, Mark Mathis, Fred Mathis, and Tom Mathis all of Washington; two sisters Esther Jones of Washington and Marilyn Street of Huntington, IN; four grandchildren Tyler (Taylor) Gray, Nolan (Izzy) Gray, Megan Nowling and Jenna Gray and three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Wininger who she married October 28, 1961 and lost October 28, 2003; her parents; daughter Jennifer Lynn Wininger; brother Bob Mathis and three sisters Elizabeth Jane Mathis, Ginny Orchard and Carolyn Sullivan.

Visitation will be Friday, June 11, 2021 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel with funeral following at 2:00 pm. Yvonne Evans will be officiating. Burial will be at Bethany Cemetery.
