Judith K. Berry, age 79 of Washington, passed away on Monday, November 26th, 2018.

She was born on August 25, 1939 in Washington to the late Homer "Spot" and Georgia Fern (Gardner) Rider. She graduated from Washington High School in 1957. She had owned and operated a day care and loved drawing, playing games, crossword puzzles and her grandchildren.

Judith married Albert "Satch" Berry on April 25, 1958, who preceded her in death on August 14, 2011. She is survived by one son, Steve Berry of Washington; one daughter, Diana (Andy) Igel of Solsberry; seven grandchildren, Lauryn Lytton, Courtney (Kevin Raney) Lytton, Chelsea (Joe) Travelstead, Drew Igel, Tyler Igel, Brittany Igel and Katie Igel; two great-grandchildren, Audrey and Asher Raney.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, daughter, Donna Deckard; brothers, Don Rider, John Rider, Charles Rider, Jerry Rider and George Rider; sister, Beverly Rider.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Thursday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary Downtown Chapel, 101 North Meridian, Washington, Indiana.
