Judith Bennett age 68 of Washington passed away at 2:15 p.m. Sunday at her residence. She was born January 16, 1940 in Washington to Joseph and Irene Cannon. She was a 1957 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. She is survived by her husband, Robert Bennett, whom she married July 6, 2000; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Angie Edrington and George and Barbara Edrington all of Washington, and Alan and Sandra Edrington of Bradenton, Florida; a step-son and his wife, Jeff and Michelle Bennett of Wheeling WV; two step-daughters, Bobbi Kay Bennett and Sarah Bennett of Wheeling WV; and adopted son and daughter, Dave and Jodi Jones of Loogootee; two grandsons, Aaron and Tyler Edington; 12 step-grandchildren; and 6 adopted grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Nelson Edrington, whom she married February 20, 1960 and he passed away November of 1997. Graveside services will be held at 3:15 p.m. Thursday at St. John Cemetery with Yvonne Evans officiating. Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
