Little Joe Dant, age 57, passed away at the Washington Nursing Center at 1:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was born April 13, 1958 to Joann (Montgomery) and Frank Dant in Washington. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. He loved putting puzzles together. He was very proud to have donated half-million pop tops to McDonalds. He also loved helping his Dad with the tomatoes and spending time with his dog Rusty. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Braves. Surviving are his father; and a sister, Marilyn (Richard) Boley of Washington; and niece, Sarah Williams of Florida. Preceding him in death is his mother, Joann Dant, April 16, 2002. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery in Loogootee. Visitation will be at Ed Lee Mortuary on Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM.
