Jon M. Carrico, 46, of Washington, passed away on July 31, 2019.

Jon was born July 14, 1973 in Washington, IN to Deborah (Harrell) Carrico and John Carrico. He graduated from Washington High School in 1992. He was a self-employed mechanic. He loved to go fishing, fix model cars and drawing in his spare time.

Jon is survived by his father John Carrico of Washington; daughter Heather (Alexander) Velazquez of Washington; brother Anthony Carrico of Washington; 5 sisters, Shelly Jones of Plainville, Indiana, Bobbisue Taylor of Newburgh, Indiana, Elena Bledsoe of Washington, Deana Clark of California, Laurissa Carrico of Washington; grandson Kal-el Velazquez.

Jon is preceded in death by his mother Debrah Carrico, sister, Heather Carrico, Grandparents, Leona and Forest Carrico Jr., Fern and George Harrell.

The funeral will be at 1 PM on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel with Byron Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Plainville Cemetery. Friends and family may call between 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
