Obituary
John E. Thompson, age 74, of Washington, passed away at his home at 6:45 AM on Monday, March 9, 2020.
John was born on July 6, 1945 in Washington to Marvin and Eva (Holt) Thompson. He attended Washington Schools, loved fishing, and was a huge basketball fan especially the Boston Celtics. John was from a family of eight brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his son. Christopher (Sharon) Banks of Washington: two grandchildren, Ashley Banks and Allison Banks of Washington: and his companion, Kathleen Skomp of Odon.
John is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Gloria Thompson; and his second wife, Linda (Asmon) Thompson.
Graveside services will be at 11 AM on Thursday at Surgarland Memory Gardens with Dr. Merle Holsopple officiating.
There will not be any visitation.
John's family has interested Ed Lee Mortuary with Arrangements.
