John William Johns, age 63, of Washington, passed away on 10:00 AM at his residence. He was born on January 4, 1948 in Lebanon, Indiana to William and Margie (Adam) Johns. He attended the Washington Temple Baptist Church. He had retired from the Indiana Theater. He is survived by his wife Hazel (Hiday) Johns whom he married on December 19, 1970; three sons and daughters in-law, Chris and Angie Johns, Harvey (Miranda Castillo) Johns, and Robert and Kriste Johns all of Washington, and Vivian (Johns) Walters of Sheridan ; two sisters, Barbara Sigman and Marilyn Sharp both of Sheridan; one brother, Earl Johns of Arcadia; and fourteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Johns; one grandson, Riley Johns, his parents; two brothers, Richard Johns and Charlie Johns. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at the Ed Lee Mortuary with Bro. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
