John B. Gregory, age 69, of Huntingburg, passed away at Jasper Memorial Hospital at 10:54 p.m. on November 3, 2015. He was born February 8, 1946 in Montgomery to Alice (Auberry) and Chester Gregory. He was a graduate of Huntingburg High School in 1965. He was retired from Old Ben Coal Mine. He was a UMWA member. He loved horses and was a blacksmith. He is survived by sons: John E. (Eowyn) Gregory of Maine, Joe Gregory of Bosie, Idaho, daughters; Angie (Aron) O''Neal of Stendal, and Dorie (Larry) Maikranz of Newburgh, sisters; Lillian Halbert of Washington, Lola (William) Russell of Montgomery, , Becky Jenkins of Dale, Stella (Darrell) Abbott of Lawrenceville, IL, Patsy (Jerry) Whitsitt of Huntingburg, Helen Dixon of Otwell, and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4 - 8 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary.
