John "Doug" Crouse, age 58, of Washington, passed away March 13, 2016 at St. Mary''s Hospital in Evansville. He was born May 2, 1957 in Washington to Dorothy (Hunter) and Walter "Juke" Crouse. He was a 1975 Barr-Reeve High School graduate. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed bowling and playing guitar. He is survived by four sisters; Betty Norris of Washington, Marsh (Tim) Titus of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Janet (Kenny) Hembree of Montgomery, and Barbara (Mike) Watt of Katy, Texas, eight nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews. Doug was preceded in death by both parents. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Walker as celebrant. Burial following at St. Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 8, from 3 - 8 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary. Memorial donations may be given to Barr-Reeve Scholarship.
