Jeralene K. Hartley passed away on May 26, 2026.

Jeralene was born on May 4, 1961, in Princeton to Charlene (Goodpasture) and Eddie Young. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others through her work as a caregiver in healthcare.

Jeralene was known for her loud, rambunctious personality and the joy she brought to those around her. She loved the excitement of demolition derbies and was an avid NASCAR fan, especially cheering on Dale Earnhardt. She enjoyed life to the fullest and will be remembered for her spirited nature and the laughter she shared with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her nephews, Richard (Kasey) White; and Brent England; niece, Anna Russell; great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler White, Marissa England, Brianna England, and Brent England Jr.; her aunts, Betty Adams and Pat Henson; as well as her life partner, Bill Ross, along with many other loved ones and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlene and Eddie Young; her daughter, Crystal (Hartley) Holderfield; her brothers, Roger Young and Jerry Young; and her sister, Brenda Wadsworth.

Though she may be gone from our sight, the memories of Jeralene’s vibrant spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

A graveside service will be held at Sugarland Memory Gardens on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in lieu of flowers.
