Janice D. 'Jan' Guy age 65 of Washington passed away on Friday at 2:44 AM at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was born on February 25, 1942 in Washington to Orval and Vinia (Hand) Roach. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, George Guy whom she married on November 4, 1961; two daughters and sons in-law, Alicia and John Adams of Washington, Michele and Tony Yenser of McDonough, Ga.; one son, Greg Guy of Haysville; two sisters, Nancy Guy and Linda Dinkens both of Washington; three brothers, Tom Roach of Oakland City, Bernard Roach of Washington and Orval Roach Jr. of Charleston Arh.; six grandchildren, Lindsay Guy of Washington, Gregory Guy of Haysville, Emily Guy of Michigan, and T.J. Yenser, Amanda Yenser, and Kyle Yense all of McDonough, Ga.; one great grandson, Braydon McIntire of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Alice Robinson and Barbara Roach; two brothers John Roach and Robert Roach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
