In his free time, Jim enjoyed fishing, and watching his collection of archived tv shows and movies. He found joy in life's simple pleasures and treasured the time he spent with those he loved.
Those left to cherish his memory include his devoted wife, Kitty Lawson, and his beloved grandson, Tyler English.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Faye Lawson; his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Lawson; his brothers, Kenneth (Dorothy) Lawson, Bob (Violet) Lawson, Dale Lawson Jr., and Richard (Jane) Lawson; and his sisters Aldine (Lloyd) Fireng, Arlene (Norwood) Stevens, Aletha (Wilbur) Fiscus, Dorothy Davis, Elizabeth (Don) Rumble and Helen (Don) Beckedorf.
