James Lee "Jimmy" Christenberry, 53, passed away December 15, 2022. He was born in Danville, Illinois, on May 11, 1969, to Frank, Sr. and Mary (Lents) Christenberry.

Jimmy loved spending time at the river. He enjoyed fishing and loved music and singing. He attended the United Methodist Church and the West End Chapel.

Those who mourn Jimmy's passing include his children: Heather Altine, Nick Christenberry and Felisha Westfall all of Washington; grandchildren: Zoey; Addison; Aurora; Avery; Kylee; and Renesmee. Coming from a large family, Jimmy leaves five brothers: David, Terry, Bill, Danny, and Jason Christenberry; and two sisters: Linda King and Rhonda Lewis.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Christenberry, Sr. and Mary Christenberry; brothers, Frank Christenberry, Jr. and Wesley Christenberry.

Visitation for James Lee Christenberry will be 12:30-2:30 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington.

Graveside services for James Lee Christenberry will be at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Washington.
