Jackie “Jack” Wayne Tincher, 67, passed away on September 14, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of laughter, cherished memories, and countless people whose days were made a little brighter simply by knowing him.
Jack was born on October 12, 1958, in Washington, Indiana, to Carolyn and Jack Tincher.
Jack spent many years on the road as a truck driver for Hillcrest Supply and TKM Trucking before retiring. Although his driving days eventually came to an end, his love for semi-trucks never did. He enjoyed collecting model semis and attending truck shows whenever he had the chance. It was a passion that remained close to his heart throughout his life.
When Jack wasn’t admiring a good-looking truck, he could often be found enjoying the outdoors, especially with a fishing pole in hand. He also loved riding around on his golf cart with his dog, Sky faithfully by his side. He was also an avid NASCAR fan, with Dale Earnhardt holding the top spot as his favorite driver, and he faithfully cheered on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
More than any hobby or interest, however, Jack will be remembered for the joy he brought to the people around him. He was funny, outgoing, and almost always in good spirits. Jack was the life of the party and had a natural way of making people laugh. Whether through a joke, a story, or simply being himself, he was always looking for a way to put a smile on someone’s face or brighten their day. His fun-loving personality made him easy to love and difficult to forget.
Jack also had a very special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Sky. She was his constant companion and a treasured part of his family, bringing him tremendous happiness and companionship.
Those left to cherish Jack’s memory include his wife, Lori (Folsom) Tincher; his children, Natasha (Hunter) Gaines, Austin (Heavenlea) Roland, Shawn (Pat) Bridges, Matthew Smith, and Daniel Tincher; his stepchildren, Michael Veller and Shanice (Mark) Helleums; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his siblings, Kim (Mike) Gogel, Lori (Shannon) Wininger, and Regina Andis; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn and Jack Tincher; and his sister, Tammy Tincher.
Those who knew Jack will remember his laughter, his good spirits, and the way he could bring life to any gathering. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and a family and circle of friends who will deeply miss the laughter, love, and happiness he brought into their lives.
Visitation for Jack will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ed L. Lee Mortuary. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Brad Rainey officiating. Cremation will follow.
