Jackie J. Gaultney, age 85, of Washington, passed away at 11:30 PM on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville.

He was born on January 11, 1932 in Elnora to Cecil and Georgia (Wilken) Gaultney.

He graduated from Elnora High and was a US Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Washington American Legion. He retired from Prairie Village as head of maintenance. He loved gardening, camping and boating.

He is survived by his wife Sandra (Truelove) Gaultney whom he married on June 19, 1971; two daughters, Shannon Lynn (Steve) Rone of Newburgh, Donna Lee (Frank) Marrah of Evansville; son, Jeffery (Lynn) Moffett of Newburgh; sister, Darlene Roach of Fortville; seven grandchildren, Joseph Queen, Ammer Arnold, Clay Williams, Matthew Queen, Brittany Cooper, Garron Moffett and Gracie Moffett; ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; great grandson; sister, LaDonna Gaultney

A private funeral service was held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Chuck Elliott officiating. Burial followed in Surgarland Memory Gardens with Military Graveside Rights by the Washington American Legion.
