Iris E. Grannan age 86 of Houston, Texas formerly of Washington passed away on Thursday morning Park Manor Westchase in Houston, Texas. She was born on October 7th 1921 in Reading England to Albert and Mabel (Pettifer) Smith. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Washington She is survived by two sons Ron Grannan and his wife Sandy of Houston, Texas, and John Grannan and his long time companion Mei of Laurel, Maryland; three grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Grannan on November 6, 1979, whom she had married on July 12, 1945; one sister; and one brother are also deceased. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
